The weather has been inconsistent, but the fishing is still good when we can get out. We have been picking away at the Yellows, but the Blackfin have been insane. The Wahoo have not really showed up in numbers, but we have caught a few here and there. On our last trip Captain Chad had 8 Yellowfin and could have sunk the boat with a Blackfin. The Yellowfin ranged from 60 to 100 pounds. Captain Joey had 4 Yellowfin and a pile of Blackfins. The biggest Yellowfin went 145 pounds. The fishing should stay the same through March as we transition into the spring.
